Oil Cleanliness
Most lubricant contamination is introduced before the oil ever reaches the machine. Desiccant breathers, sealed storage, and filtered transfer keep new oil as clean as the spec sheet claims.
About oil cleanliness
New oil is not clean oil — it routinely arrives dirtier than the target ISO code for the equipment it will run in, and ambient air pulls water and dust into every reservoir. Oil cleanliness covers the whole handling chain: desiccant breathers that dry and filter incoming air on gearboxes and drums, sealed storage totes and containers, filtered transfer carts and pumps, and color-coded dedicated dispensing. Getting this right is the cheapest reliability gain in most plants.
